Racing cars is a very serious thing and accidents are a regular occurrence. As much of a thrill as the profession/hobby provides, there will always be a very serious risk of injury or even death. Perhaps Ernest Hemingway summed it up best: Mountain climbing, Auto racing, and bull fighting are the only real sports…all others are games.” And now comes the video below of a racing driver who had himself an accident by flipping the car over on its side. And that liquid spilling out on to the pavement is gasoline. So, It quickly ignites and this driver is caught in the flames for just a second or so before escaping with his life. This crash occurred at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Pennsylvania.
That was really over the top. What do you think of this next video?
