Military aircraft training missions are not the safest and in this video we get a look at one of the many things that can go wrong during a mission. It was a training day like any other and the crews mission was from Dyess AFB and everything seemed to be running smoothly until they discovered that the nose landing gear would not extend. As a result the crew diverted to Edwards AFB where they hoped the surface of Rogers Dry Lake would promise a safer and less damaging landing. In the video below we watch the fascinating Air Force footage of the B-1B Lancer landing on a huge lake-bed with its nose gear unextended! It is truly insane! Click below to check it out!
