The MG Midget MKIII made its official debut in 1966 and remained in production until 1974. The manufacturer upsized the engine and the power output for this one. Under the hood is a 1275 cc engine capable of generating 65 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque. Aesthetically, little changed when compared to its predecessors. A significant modification is that the bonnet has been permanently linked to the car. The grille was modified a bit and the silles sport a black paint job. Wire spoke wheels are still optional with the conventional model being the ‘Rostyle’ model. A total of 100,246 units were produced for this series.
