The Le Mans is probably my favorite motorsports race on the planet. The oldest continuously held endurance race in the world, the 24-hour Le Mans race has been held each year outside of the little French town of Le Mans since 1923 and is also the first race in which Ford beat Ferrari in a race when the Ford GT40 with the #P1046 chassis claimed the Le Mans crown in 1966 with a brilliant victory overseas! Click play to watch the Legends of Le Mans and learn how Lorin Sorensen’s Ford GT40 won the epic 24-hour endurance motorsports race. Good stuff!
