Reigning two-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez completed a hat-trick at the Grand Prix of the Americas, but it’s his final lap during saturday’s Q2 session that is the stuff of legends.

After his Honda Repsol died on him on the pit straight, he ran over to his pit and got on his second bike, with only about three minutes left in the session.

The champ went on to deliver the fastest lap ever recorded on two wheels in Austin – two minutes, 02.135 seconds.
