In this video, we are about to witness a crazy engine swap featuring a 1970 Roadrunner that is now powered by a 3-53 Detroit Diesel. The original big block engine was replaced by 159ci two stroke diesel engine that produces 101hp and just over 200 lb-ft of torque. The owner Jon Shaw will show you the engine bay and will drive the car down the road. It may not be the most ideal set up for a car but this one was surprisingly driven 12,000 miles since the engine was installed. Oh did we mention that the owner drives the machine using a mixture of 50/50 diesel fuel and used fry oil? Check out this video below and witness this insane Detroit Diesel Powered 1970 Roadrunner in action!
