250 Supercross Finale – Las Vegas

Article Written by : Legendary Videos

The 250 east/west shootout went down in Vegas this past weekend and the championship was still up for grabs on both coasts. Admittedly, it seemed like a long shot for either Joey Savatgy or Aaron Plessinger to make up the ground needed to overturn the red plate holders. But, the pot was heavily stirred as soon as the Vegas skies decided to open up and turn the last round into a proper mudder. This is the first time in quite a few years that the points have counted overall towards both coasts. This almost cost Cooper Webb, he had to slyly hide a wrist injury sustained in practice coming into the series finale, and he rode with grit to secure the title by only 1 point. In the east coast, Malcolm Stewart handily got his first championship and he donated half the plate to his big brother. It was an awesome night of racing in Vegas, who’s ready for outdoors?
