2017 Audi TT-RS Coupe, Cabrio Testing At The Nurburgring

Two prototypes of the new Audi TT RS, in both Coupe and Cabriolet guise, have been caught at the Nordschleife. The vehicles will be instantly recognizable, as previous scoops have proved, the only difference between the them, on top of the electrically operated canvas top adopted by a Roadster, and will be a few pounds gained over its Coupe sibling, which will compensate for the lack of the fixed roof. Power will be provided by the 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder borrowed from a latest RS3, which is believed to churn out up to 400 HP, putting a sizable gap between the RS and the 306 horsepower TT S. Power will be sent to the rear-biased variant of the firm’s quattro AWD system through either the 6-speed manual gearbox or the optional dual-clutch auto. The same powertrain will be eventually adopted by the RS3 Sedan, that is said to be nailing the naught to 60 mph sprint in 4 seconds dead, beating its two main competitors, a Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 and the BMW M2 Coupe.

That was pretty crazy. Wait until you see this next video below...
