2016 AMA Supercross Monster Highlights In Anaheim

Rockstar Husqvarna’s Jason Anderson was the man of the night at the 2016 SX season opener in Anaheim. His day didn’t go exactly as planned due to a gnarly crash in practice where he whiskey throttled on the landing of a jump and launched off of a berm outside of the track limits. Fortunately, he managed to ride back to the pits unscathed and channel that emotion into positive intensity for the night show. It was a tremendously crazy night of racing which saw the main event red flagged after James Stewart was KO’d by Ryan Dungey. Anderson managed to get a decent jump on the restart, but was outpaced by the likes of Cole Seely, Justin Barcia, Eli Tomac, Ryan Dungey, and more. Anderson followed Trey Canard through the pack, eventually passing him and tracking down Cole Seely for the first place position. Dungey managed to work his way back up to second after being taken down by Trey Canard, relegating Cole Seely to third. This was Anderson’s maiden 450 victory, make sure to keep an eye on him throughout the season to light the candles a couple more times.

That was pretty crazy. Wait until you see this next video below...
